In 1901, young Itzach Rosenbaum immigrated from Czarist, Russia to the United States in search of freedom and opportunity. After changing his name to Edward Rose, he moved to Detroit as a carpenter, where he soon took interest in the region's growing real estate economy. In 1921, he began building single-family homes in the metro Detroit area. This budding enterprise later passed to Edward's son, Sheldon, who took up the role of company president after his father.

Under Sheldon Rose, the company established itself in the market which it proudly professes to this day: multi-family apartment construction and management.

Today, Sheldon’s son Warren is pioneering the company’s most recent investment in Rose Senior Living.

Over a span of nine decades and four generations, Edward Rose & Sons has built almost 85,000 homes across the country, and today leases out 60K+ homes in over 15 different states.

With our honest and diligent work ethic, we at Edward Rose & Sons hope to expand our business and provide better living for families across America.
